A scene is the basic building block of narrative writing. When you write a narrative, you are in fact writing two or three scene that are put together in a way that makes sense.
Every scene has three basic parts:
➢ Orientation
➢ Complication
➢ Resolution

Note: There is no connection between a scene and paragraphing. A scene can
have any number of paragraphs-but always more than one.
